This simple deck girder bridge crosses Buffalo Creek near Plato.
Originally built in the early 1900s, the bridge was widened on the south end in 1912. The structure consists of a pair of 55 foot deck girder spans. The entire bridge consists of concrete substructures.
When the double track was removed, the southern of the two tracks was removed. It is unknown if the existing spans were replaced at that time.
Overall, the bridge appears to be in fair condition. Significant deterioration can be seen on the south ends of the substructures.
The author has ranked the bridge as being locally significant, due to the common design.
